2014-2015
  • On july 21, 2014, Nahar International School opened its doors with 99 students from Early Years to Grade 6, supported by 20 academicians and 10 administrative staff
  • Well-Being Department Established
  • Integrated performing arts, fine arts cultural days, physical development hobby clubs, and digital literacy to align with the school's aim of providing a stimulating environment that nurtures students' full potential
2015-2016
  • Introduced Grades 7 and 8
  • Appointed the first Student Council
  • Inception of our excursion program providing students with valuable experiences beyond the classroom
2016-2017
  • Introduced IGCSE and IBDP.
    8 Students in IGCSE. 2 in IBDP
  • Selected as one of 24 schools worldwide by CAIE to pilot the Global Politics program
2017-2018
  • Conducted the first University Fair, connecting students with prestigious universities and career opportunities
  • Hosted the first Diplomathon, a dynamic event designed to enhance students' diplomatic skills and global awareness through simulations and interactive sessions
2018-2019
  • Marked the first IBDP and IGCSE results and the students secured placements in desired universities
  • Achieved the International School Award from the British Council
  • Certified as 'Great Place to Study' by Global League Institute in at the House of Commons, UK Parliament, London
  • Successfully completed the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) Self-Evaluation Process
  • Organized the interschool art festival Chiaroscuro
  • Organized a TED Talk Featuring Nahar Students as Speakers
  • Student Council Hosted Nahar Premier League (NPL)
2019-2020
  • Set-up the High School Library
  • Established Cambridge Professional Development Qualifications (PDQ) to enhance educators' skills and align with Cambridge’s educational standards
  • Organized MUNRISE, the inter-school Model United Nations
2020-2021
  • Introduced A Levels, demonstrating resilience and adaptability during the COVID19 pandemic
  • Partnered with EUMIND (Europe Meets India) for collaborative projects with schools in the Netherlands
  • UNSD Goals Incorporated across disciplines
  • Complete digital transformation of the library
  • Library Continued Service to Students and Parents following COVID Guidelines
  • Adopted New Technological tools: ln Thinking, Turnitin Mentimeter, EBSCO etc
  • Successfully completed the first 5 year evaluation of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
2021-2022
  • Adopted Wada village in Maharashtra providing support and assistance to the community
  • Launched internships for Grade 11 students both within the school and externally
2022-2023
  • The first batch of A Levels students secured placements in desired universities
  • Under-12 and Under-16 Teams reached the Finals in Football and Basketball Tournaments, including MSSA and ISSO
  • Implemented Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Policy for High School Students
  • Alumni Portal Established
2023-2024
  • NIS has grown to 1,200 students, supported by 190 academicians and 40 admin staff
  • Inaugurated Bees and Cubs, the Preprimary school and Daycare facility
  • Spotlighted on National Geographic Channel's Great Indian School series
  • Expanded the library collection from 700 to 130,000 books
  • Introduced a diverse range of subjects, including Enterprise, Travel & Tourism, EVM, Physical Education and Environmental Management
  • Untaboo session held for students, parents, and teachers to raise awareness about safety and sex education
  • Teachers achieving Cambridge and IB Examiner Status
  • Started mentoring New Cambridge schools under the guidance of Cambridge Assessment
